Filter Medium

Filter medium is usually placed in filters to help filter out impurities and toxins from the water to improve the water quality. There are basically 3 different types of filter medium: Mechanical, Biological and Chemical. As they serve different purposes, these 3 types are recommended to be incorporated into the same filter to establish optimum conditions for aquariums.
